The webinar features Dr. Peter DeBenedittis, a well-know speaker and trainer in the prevention field for 20 years. Until now, the risk and protective factor paradigm has generated prevention programs that need multiple session to be effective. In this webinar, Dr. DeBenedittis teaches Alcohol Expectany Theory, an approach to prevention that NIAAA has given a Tier 1 Rating for it’s power to reduce underage and binge drinking in a single session.

Dr. D. is offering this course, because he knows prevention providers, having been trained under old paradigms mandating numerous intervention sessions, find it hard to believe that youth will drink significantly less after receiving only a single session lesson. Once you understand Alcohol Expectancies, you will better understand the nearly 1,000 research studies showing how this is possible.

Imagine how many more youth can be reached when you only ask for 50-90 minutes of class time to implement an NREPP reviewed prevention program! Classrooms, Orientation, After-School, Sports, Community and Faith-Based Programs will all be more receptive to your prevention efforts.

The webinar will take you approximately 2 hours.

Print out the Webinar guide before you begin. This will guide your note taking and help you pass the quiz at the end.

Then register for the Webinar. All required fields are needed in order to receive a CEU certificate that is valid in all states except Alaska, Maine, Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming.
